Ard Thurinish is a detached three bedroomed self-catering cottage set above the shoreline of the beautiful and romantic Isle of Skye with spectacular views over the Sound of Sleat to Morar, Ardnamurchan, and the Hebridean Small Islands of Rhum, Eigg and Muck. Great care has been taken over the design of Ard Thurinish to take full advantage of the panoramic sea and mountain views from every room. Recently constructed and meticulously furnished and fitted, it is spacious, modern and comfortable, with its own large enclosed garden and patio.

The area provides excellent walking, climbing and fishing. There is abundant wildlife both in the marine environment and on the surrounding open countryside. Seals, dolphins, porpoise and whales can be seen in the bay overlooked from the cottage and deer roam free all around. For the ornithologist there are eagles, buzzards and many seabirds. The nearby beach provides the opportunity to explore rock pools and look for the occasional treasure whilst beachcombing. All this combines to make an artist and photographers dream.

Accommodation

Ard Thurinish is a superbly equipped three bedroomed house with two double and one twin bedded accommodation. An en-suite shower room, bathroom and downstairs toilet ensures privacy and comfort.

From the dining room walk out to the peace and tranquility of the garden, patio and bar-b-que area.  The views across the Sound of Sleat towards the islands of Eigg, Rhum and Muck speak for themselves.  Use the telescope to observe the wildlife, passing ships and spectacular sunsets from the upstairs gallery.

Facilities

The large well equipped open plan fitted kitchen and dining room has integrated electric cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The utility room has a freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink unit. There is ample space for coats and boots.

Ard Thurinish is oil fire centrally heated throughout. The living room is a welcome retreat with its log fire, comfortable sofas, Sky digital TV, DVD, video and Mini Hi-Fi. Sit and enjoy the stunning and ever-changing view to the island of Eigg.
