holiday cottage Burnside has been recently tastefully refurbished to provide comfortable and cosy accommodation.

The cottage sleeps a maximum of four people and is situated in Skeabost bridge, which is about six miles from Portree, the main village on Skye and fifteen miles from Dunvegan.

The accomodation comprises of a long hallway from which all the rooms are accessed. Burnside is heated by electric wall heaters with adjustable thermostats. All the windows are double glazed.

The lounge/dining room has a traditional slate open fire (first supply of logs provided) for cosy, relaxing evenings.

The bedrooms comprise of a twin bedded room with views across the loch and a double room which looks out upon a wooded area to the rear of the house. All bed linen and towels are provided.

The modern white bathroom provides a bath with an overhead shower and a heated towel rail.  The kitchen has a convenient hatch through to the dining area. There is a good supply of kitchen utensils pans plates bowls etc.

The kitchen includes an electric cooker with a gas hob, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge /freezer.

A washing machine with tumble drying facility, iron and ironing board is also provided.

The garden is fully fenced. At the front is an ornamental pond, and a garden bench so you can sit outside to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There  is also a BBQ available. To the rear of the house is a small flat area, with a rustic old table and bench, (breakfast perhaps?).

Behind this some steep steps lead up to a hilly uncultivated wooded area which you are welcome to explore, but at your own risk as the ground is uneven and the steps steep.

There is parking for 2 cars.
