Cnoc an Theine is a three bedroomed self-catering cottage situated on
the beautiful and romantic Isle of Skye with spectacular views over the
Sound of Sleat to Morar, Ardnamurchan, and the Hebridean islands of
Rhum, Eigg and Muck. Great care has been taken over the design of Cnoc
an Theine to take full advantage of the uninterrupted views from every
angle of the cottage. Careful consideration has been given to the
disabled and provision made for access and toilet facilities.
The area provides excellent walking, climbing and fishing. There is
abundant wildlife both in the marine environment and on the surrounding
open countryside. Seals, dolphins, porpoise and whales can be seen in
the bay overlooked from the cottage and deer roam free all around. For
the ornithologist there are eagles, buzzards and many seabirds. The
nearby beach provides the opportunity to explore rock pools and look
for the occasional treasure whilst beachcombing. All this combines to
make a photographers dream.
Accommodation
The cottage sleeps up to 6 persons and pets are welcome. On the ground
floor, a comfortable double bedroom. Bathroom with
shower, bath and WC, all with access for the disabled.
On the upper floor two bedrooms - one double and one twin bedded room. Shower with WC.
Facilities
A well equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer.
Panoramic views over the Sound of Sleat can be seen through the velox
windows and French doors. The house is surrounded by a patio, which
has a bar-b-que, table and seating.
