Fiscals Flat is located in the centre of the historic City of Perth, with its many sights, character shops, restaurant & café quarter, pubs, theatre, concert hall, cinema, museums, ice-rink, swimming pool, award-winning parks and gardens, and of course the ever fascinating River Tay.
The apartment is very well equipped and centrally located, enabling clients to enjoy the delights of Perth on foot while providing an excellent base for the many sights and activities available locally and further afield.
Perth is a wonderful city to visit in its own right and is also the perfect base for exploring much of Scotland, with its dozens of golf courses, historic sights, mountains, scenic countryside and coast. Edinburgh, St Andrews, Stirling and Glasgow are all about an hour's drive.
Accommodation
Fiscals Flat is an elegant one bedroom apartment with its own garage right in the centre of Perth.
It is on the ground floor of the historic Fiscals House, which has been tastefully converted into 12 high-specification flats of various sizes virtually on the banks of the River Tay.
The cosy bedroom is reached by ascending 3 steps from the kitchen area and has a kingsize (5 foot) double bed, 2 chests of drawers and plenty of built in wardrobe space. The ensuite bathroom has a toilet, basin and metal bath with a shower over the bath.
The high ceilinged lounge is comfortably furnished with two swivel armchairs and a sofabed, and equipped with a small TV, DVD player, radio and CD player. The large multi-paned double glazed window looks out over South Street towards the trees in the old Grey Friars churchyard.
Facilities
The kitchen and dining area is a few steps up from the lounge. The
kitchen is well equipped with Siemens ceramic hob and electric oven,
microwave, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, and the large double glazed
window gives a similar outlook to that of the lounge.
There is a separate toilet/utility area with wash basin and washer/drier on the same level as the kitchen.
Fiscals Flat is carpeted throughout except for the tiled floor in the ensuite bathroom. Heating is via radiators fed from a communal gas boiler which also supplies hot water, thus there is no gas supply to the flat itself. The flat is extremely well insulated and stays comfortably warm with very little heating, but there is no charge for heating or electricity.
The garage is at the rear of Fiscals House and is accessed via a remote controlled roller door.
Prices include bedlinen, towels, and electricity. A child's cot and high chair can be provided on request. We cannot accept pets as Fiscals House has a no pets policy.
