Blue Skye is a traditional white washed crofthouse of the Highland vernacular. Blue Skye is located in a stunning location in the south of Skye in the small village of Lower Breakish.

The crofthouse sits on a croft of four acres and is yards from a sea inlet with beautiful sandy beach at low tide. Stunning views abound of several islands and to the mainland. A fantastic amount of wildlife and birdlife can be found within this beautiful area.

Blue Skye is a traditional white washed crofthouse of the Highland vernacular. Blue Skye is located in a stunning location in the south of Skye in the small village of Lower Breakish.

The crofthouse sits on a croft of four acres and is yards from a sea inlet with beautiful sandy beach at low tide. Stunning views abound of several islands and to the mainland. A fantastic amount of wildlife and birdlife can be found within this beautiful area.

Blue Skye is only four miles away from the second largest community on Skye at Broadford. A supermarket, several speciality shops, pubs, restaurants and laundrette can all be found here.

Our accommodation consists of three bedrooms (two double and one twin), bathroom with shower and lounge with digital satellite TV. We also have an enclosed garden with picnic bench for you to enjoy alfresco meals and drinks while taking in the magnificent views (weather permitting of course).

Accommodation

Blue Skye Crofthouse consists of three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), lounge kitchen and bathroom. A traditional white washed house which is over 80 years old it is located yards from the water edge.

Blue Skye sits on a croft of around 4 acres which you are free to roam. A pebbled drive provides plenty of space for off road parking.

Lounge
The lounge consists of dining table and chairs, two sofas and bookcase filled with local interest literature and a selection of DVD's for you perusal. Heating is by electric fire. There are front facing views of the mainland and Ashaig Sands at low tide.

There is widescreen TV with Digital satellite connection, DVD player and CD player with a choice music for your entertainment.

Bedroom One
Downstairs double bedroom with lovely garden and sea views. Open fire with fireplace which is fully operational, standing wardrobe and double set of wooden drawers.

Bedroom Two
Upstairs double bedroom with built in wardrobe and double set of pine drawers.

Bedroom Three
Upstairs twin bedded room with built in wardrobe and double set of pine drawers.

Facilities

Kitchen
Our kitchen is compact and well laid out. It contains a fridge freezer, electric cooker and microwave. Pots, pans, cutlery and all crockery are also supplied. The washing machine is located in a utility area under the stairs. Groceries and provision can be purchased in advance.

Bathroom
Good sized bathroom with shower, sink, WC and heated towel rail located upstairs in the property. Complimentary toiletries are provided for your use.

Garden
Fully contained garden area. Great place to sun bath and watch the wildlife go by. Picnic bench is located here and deckchairs can be provided.
