Newly renovated, the modern superbly equipped accommodation is attached to a traditional house located above the picturesque village of Dornie. The scenic village has four shops, a post office, two pubs and a hotel which provides delicious freshly caught sea food and local produce.

The village of Dornie is located 9 miles from the Skye bridge and the Isle of Skye. Dornie is also 15 miles from the National Trust village of Plockton and it's beautiful harbour. The village of Glenelg with it's ancient brochs is 20 miles away over the breathtaking Ratagan pass. The cottage is ideally situated for walking, hillwalking, climbing, horse-riding, bird watching, photography, fishing, golf, nature excursions, genealogy and for fans of the film "Highlander". A wooden post in our garden overlooking the castle was used as a gallows in the film.

Accommodation

The accommodation at Falcon's Cliff has recently been built to a very high standard and the new building comprises of one double bedroom, a kitchen, a living room and a toilet/shower room. This is an ideal retreat in a stunning location for two people.

Facilities

The sitting room has all the modern services including satellite TV, a DVD player, and a CD system. We also provide books, games and maps of the local area.

The kitchen contains a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer and a full range of kitchenware. There is also a washing machine, a tumble drier, an iron and an ironing board in the utility room.

We also provide dressing gowns, all fresh towels and linen as well as a "Welcome Pack" on arrival. Should it be needed we can also provide a cot by prior arrangement.

All heating and electricity is included and there is ample parking outside the cottage.
