Located on the Old Pier at Camusterrach, Pier Cottage is a holiday escape for those who wish to get away from it all and unwind to the slow rhythms of the sea and rural life.

Sheltered from the ravages of the northerly winds by its own outcrop of coastal rock, the cottage nestles on a sunny grassy shore above the rocky beach. Pier Cottage is the ideal venue for Canoeing & Sea Kayaking; Otter & Bird Watching and Coastal Walks. The Bealach & Torridon are close enough for that classic Scottish Mountaineering day or simply to relax and sample the excellent seafood landed locally.

For those wishing more of a Rest & Contemplative escape you will find yourself transfixed in a window seat, watching out for wildlife the sheep wandering outside; the otter feeding in the kelp; listening to the roar of the deer on the hillside opposite.

Accommodation

The First Floor has two low bedrooms; one with a Scottish double and the other with Twin beds, both simply furnished. Upstairs has the family bathroom with whb & wc and double ended claw-foot bath, for those relaxing evenings whilst enjoying sea glimpses. The hot water boiler will give one very large and very hot bath, probably worth sharing !

Facilities

The main room in the house that you will gravitate towards (and spend all your time in) is the sunny south facing extension, over looking the shore, forming a spacious family room (Kitchen / Dining & Sitting). The fully equipped kitchen also comes with bread maker. From the kitchen, double doors lead out onto a small timber deck and down onto the grassed foreshore with ever changing views and light over the water. There is a natural BBQ spot and rocky outcrop for exploring.
