Raven Cottage is a modern self-catering detached property (built in 2004) with three bedrooms sleeping up to six people plus a baby (travel cot and high chair available on request). The cottage is centrally heated throughout, with a wood burner in the lounge for cosy nights in. There is a games area upstairs to keep the children occupied and give the adults some relaxation after a day in the hills. Alternatively enjoy a glass of wine or a nip of the famous Talisker malt on the decking overhanging the Allt nam Fitheach stream that runs along the side of the large enclosed garden.

Accommodation

On ground level there are two bedrooms; one double bedroom and one bunk bed room with full size beds sharing a bathroom with bath / shower. The property has a ramp at the exterior door to the side of the cottage enabling disabled access. The master bedroom with king-sized bed is accessed from the Italian beech spiral staircase in the lounge area and has an en-suite shower room with views out towards Loch Eynort. Also on the first storey is a games area with table football and a selection of board games and puzzles. There is a selection of books about the local area to relax and read on the sheepskin covered rocking chair.

Facilities

The lounge features a wood burner with a slate hearth (a supply of logs is provided for your enjoyment of the burner). A Sky freeview enabled LCD television and DVD player are provided along with a selection of DVD movies. Large patio doors lead out to the rear garden where you can watch the local wildlife and magnificent scenery from the comfort of the leather sofas. A phone is available with free local and national calls after 6pm weekdays and all weekend. The cottage is broadband enabled and available for your use. The kitchen / diner allows for six people to sit comfortably and is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge freezer and integrated full sized dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer (also an outside rotary dryer) and plenty of hanging space for coats and a shoe rack. Outside is a large fully enclosed garden for children to play and explore in safety, and for all to enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery and the local wildlife (ravens, buzzards, robins, golden eagles and perhaps a sighting of the rare sea eagles that nest in Eynort.
